Alan’s work focuses on the management and protection of archaeological resources on public lands. As director of the Nu’alolo Kai Archaeological Project, he has overseen the collaborative community effort to document, preserve and enhance the cultural landscape of this remote area within Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park, Kaua‘i.
