MEMBERSHIP

There are four categories of membership in the Society for Hawaiian Archaeology: Lifetime (single payment of $500), Regular ($30/yr.), Family/Institutional ($35/yr.), and Student (must be full-time, with valid student ID, $15/yr.). Lifetime and Regular members are voting members.

The annual journal Hawaiian Archaeology is included as part of your membership. The SHA website provides up-to-date information about speakers, job announcements, web site resources of interest to members, and the annual conference. The Society's e-mail distribution list provides timely information on local, national, and international job announcements, field schools, and other information of interest to our members.

The Society operates on a calendar fiscal year (January 1st–December 31st). Annual dues are payable by the 1st of January. Production of Society publications, and conduct of other Society activities is dependent on the timely payment of membership dues.

NOTE: Applicants must also complete and send (via email to the Treasurer or post to the Society) an Application and Renewal Form at the time of their payment. Also be advised that online membership fee transactions are subject to a $1.50 surcharge, listed as a "shipping" charge on the invoice.
